This is an anonymous blog. I created it because I needed a place to vent, kvetch, brag, and commiserate. A thumbnail sketch of me would include the fact that I am a 37 year old single mother to my two fabulous kids – a 5 year old girl and a 2 year old boy. We live in Massachusetts with our freckle nose cat and four fish.
The name of this blog came from my mother’s comment “parents these days take parenting much more seriously than we did in the 70s”. Which I found true, daunting, and a little sad. I try my best to roll with the parenting punches.
